After having a series of unfortunate events happen & having a lot of personal issues, today was a nice relief from it all. It was a great makeup day too! On my out to go to work I saw that I received my Too Faced Romantic Eye Shadow Palette in the mail & that just instantly brightened my day (I was expecting it to come next week, but it got here 2 days early, so I’m super stoked about that). When I got to the mall, I decided to walk into the MAC store to check out more of their Holiday stuff, when I remembered that I needed a new face primer because I was running low, so I decided to try the Matte Creme Matifiante/Gel Primer (after hearing really good things about it… so we’ll have a review on that soon!). & I got a compliment on my eyeshadow look from one of the girls that worked there, so that was an ego boost to lift my spirits. Then, I decided to quickly grab some Starbucks before going into work, but the barista messed up my order and gave me the wrong drink (she gave me an iced creme brulee latte instead of a frapp… you should try either one! They’re delicious! But, I digress…) so she let me keep the iced latte & gave me the frapp as well! Work went pretty smooth after that… & on my way home, I decided to go quickly peruse around Walgreens to see if they had the Wet n Wild Color Icon Palette in “I <3 Matte”… that I’ve been on a wild goose chase for those suckers around my area and had no luck, so I decided to go check out the last one in my area & they had two left! So I grabbed them along with the baked shadows ‘cause who can resist a bogo right? I’m really excited to try all of these products out in the next couple of days and write reviews for them. Happy Belated Half-Birthday to me! :D (It was yesterday lol)
